Memorial Day kitchen deals are heating up: Score deep discounts on Yeti, Vitamix, Keurig and more

Hello, it’s Yahoo’s resident pro baker turned deals hunter reporting for duty. When Memorial Day Weekend rolls around, I can never decide what I’m more excited about — the food or the sales. On one hand, few things are as enjoyable as scarfing down a burger loaded with toppings (and a side of watermelon, please!). On the other, saving money gives me a serotonin boost that’s hard to beat. Good thing I don’t really have to choose. By tracking down the best Memorial Day kitchen deals, I can have my metaphorical cake and eat it too.

And that, my friends, is exactly what I’ve done. Memorial Day sales on brands from Vitamix to Yeti have already started, and to save you the trouble of sifting through the mediocre ones, I’ve handpicked my favorites. These are either products I use myself, or they’re just really solid deals that I’ve bookmarked for my own shopping cart. Not all deals are created equal, but by enlisting the help of price trackers and comparing sales across retailers, I’ve vetted each item on this list — non-legit discounts need not apply.

Of course, sales don’t last forever, so if you see something that catches your eye, I’d advise snagging it while you can. Oh, and I’ll be updating this list with more finds throughout the holiday, so be sure to check back often. And with that, happy saving (and savoring)!

Did you know flour mites are a thing? I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but, yes, these teeny-tiny pests exist. They can be found in just about any type of dried pantry staple like flour, oats, grains and spices, but transferring these foods from their original packaging to airtight containers can help prevent infestation.

Keep those little creatures out courtesy of these sleek and sturdy canisters, which come with airtight lids. At 16 cups each, they can hold a decent amount and include scoops — plus, the price is just about as low as it’s ever been.

Staying hydrated is important all year, but especially as the temps rise. This sought-after tumbler will quench your thirst on the go while keeping drinks cold (or warm if you’re a hot-coffee-or-bust kind of person) for hours at a time. It’ll fit right in your car’s cupholder, has a splash-resistant lid and, perhaps most importantly, is dishwasher safe. Plus, Yeti is one of those brands that doesn’t really need to have sales, so any time you see a discount, it’s wise to pounce. (Note: You’ll need to make a Yeti account to score this deal, but it’s fast and free!)

When I say that this is my parents’ new obsession, I’m not exaggerating; the first time they used it, I received over a dozen texts about the pizzas they made in it. According to them, it’s extremely user-friendly, works quickly and the pies “taste wood-fired,” thanks to the fact that it reaches 800°F, resulting in a nicely charred crust.

It’s dropped to within $5 of its all-time lowest price, so if the idea of hosting warm-weather pizza parties appeals to you, I’d recommend adding it to your cart while the slice is right. (I’ll stop now.)

If you spend lots of time in the kitchen, your feet deserve a cushy surface to stand on during all of that cooking (and dishwashing). This highly rated anti-fatigue mat is made from comfy foam to help take some of the pressure off of your muscles and joints, and its nonslip bottom will stay put without sliding around. It’s waterproof and easy to wipe clean, and at nearly 40% off, this is close to as low as I’ve seen it marked down to in years.

A bestselling 11-piece nonstick cookware set for less than 50 bucks? There’s gotta be a catch, right? Nope! This clever collection comes with two frying pans, two saucepans, a sauté pan, two silicone lids, two fridge storage lids and — wait for it — two removable handles that’ll save some storage space in your cabinets. These pretty pots have never been on sale for less, and not having to scrape off stuck-on gunk after dinner? Priceless.

It’s an air fryer … it’s a toaster oven … it’s … well, it’s both. Made of sleek stainless steel, this compact appliance cooks up crispy favorites with hardly any oil, and you can get it at Target for less than it is at Amazon. In fact, this price is the best I’ve seen it on sale for.

Once summer officially arrives, you’ll be relieved you have a way to bake, roast and broil without turning on your full-size oven (thus turning your kitchen into a sauna).

I try to minimize waste in the kitchen as much as possible, which is why this reusable silicone baking mat comes in clutch. Not only does it help keep my parchment paper costs to a minimum, but it protects my sheet trays from caked-on residue.

The nonstick material couldn’t be easier to clean, and I find that I can still achieve a nice golden brown on the bottoms of my cookies when I use it. Plus, I don’t have to pry the cookies off once they’re out of the oven — they can easily be lifted with a spatula. As for dough that needs to be rolled out, you can do it on one of these rather than your counter to make cleanup less of a headache.

The Silpat brand is more expensive than generic liners, but it’s the most durable I’ve tried — you won’t have to replace it for a long time. (Actress Jennifer Garner, an enthusiastic baker, is also a fan!) Stock up while it’s down to its best price in months.

Senior Health Editor Laura Williams awarded this line the title of “best stainless steel” in her roundup of the best nontoxic cookware, saying, “Stainless steel is generally considered one of the safest and most durable options when selecting nontoxic cookware, and we especially appreciate that this set is NSF-certified for safety and durability. It also comes with a lifetime warranty, so you know your investment is well covered. … We also like that the cookware (pots, pans and lids) are oven-safe up to 500° F and are dishwasher-safe too.”

Included in this eight-piece set are an 8-inch fry pan, a 10-inch fry pan, a 2-quart sauce pan with lid, a 3-quart sauce pan with lid and a 5-quart Dutch oven with lid. This deal saves you nearly 55%, its best markdown since 2023.

You’ll feel like you have your own personal smoothie shop with this best-in-class blender. Boasting a 2-horsepower motor, it’ll effortlessly blitz up everything from ice to frozen fruit, though you could also use it for whizzing up the silkiest sauces or even grinding meat.

From soup to nuts (as in, homemade nut butters), this workhorse will level up your meal prep like no other — and this is the best price I’m seeing online. If it’s your first QVC order, you can also enter code HELL015 to get an extra $15 off.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream — and this wildly popular appliance will satiate your sweet tooth in between trips to the Good Humor truck this summer.

It churns out not just ice cream, but sorbet, milkshakes and more — just add your ingredients, freeze overnight, press a button and ta-da! Plus, you’ll be able to customize your creation with your favorite mix-ins. This price beats Amazon’s, so “scoop” it up while you can.

An air fryer is just the ticket when you want a hot meal without turning on the oven (aka summertime savior). This model — which was purchased more than 20,000 times in the past month alone — heats up quickly and holds up to 20 wings at a time, thanks to its square-shaped basket. Plus, it can be used to dehydrate food, proof bread and even bake desserts.

With this deal, it’s just $2 more than its Black Friday and Prime Day price (also its all-time low).

Rise and grind! Just kidding — with this cheery blue Keurig, making coffee is as simple as filling the tank with water, popping in a K-Cup of your choice and pressing a button.

Let’s face it, mornings can be hectic, and the last thing you need as you’re rushing around is an involved java-making process. This speedy brewer takes all the work out, and it’s down to just $40 (this beats Amazon’s price).

The best meals are the ones you can make by tossing all of the ingredients into one cooking vessel, then setting and forgetting. That’s probably why the Instant Pot has become such a fan favorite — and this compact model, with its seven functions in one, is so versatile, it just might become your most-used appliance.

Make rice, sear chicken … or heck, even whip up some yogurt in it. (Its three-quart capacity is ideal for smaller households.) Oh, and this discount brings the price down to about as low as it’s been all year.

Plastic cutting boards have been garnering a lot of attention — and not the good kind. In short, hacking away on plastic can cause microplastics to get into our food, which is linked to negative health impacts. Sort of defeats the purpose of slicing up fruits and vegetables in the first place. That’s why many home cooks are swapping out their plastic boards in favor of an equally lightweight material: bamboo.

At over 50% off, this is as low as this durable, attractive set has dipped in years. You also can’t put a price on the peace of mind that comes with knowing your food will be free of plastic bits…

You can’t go wrong with classic stainless steel cookware, and Made In’s sought-after pieces don’t often go on sale. That said, this bestselling set is a rare $107 off and includes small, medium and large pans to suit all of your stir-frying and sautéing needs.

They come with a lifetime warranty for peace of mind, and you won’t have to worry about “forever chemicals” making their way into your food. This one’s a true contender for my own cart.

Sur La Table

Though Le Creuset is famous for its enameled cast iron cookware, it also makes fantastic stoneware for baking and casseroles. These dishes have a lovely finish that resists chips and cracks, and since the surface is nonporous, it won’t absorb odors or flavors.

Well-designed handles make them easy to remove from the oven, and they’re so pretty, they can go straight to the table, filled with lasagna, roasted veggies or brownies. Their current price is a little lower than the one I saw last year — just $25 apiece.

A dull knife just won’t cut it when it comes to efficient (and safe) slicing and dicing. If you’d rather not shell out for a whole new set of blades, you can hone the ones you already have courtesy of this nifty tool. It has five settings for sharpening and polishing just about any knife in your kitchen, aside from ceramic blades — just a few swipes, and you’ll be on your way to chopping slippery tomatoes like a champ. It’s never dropped lower than its current price, so snag it while you can save over 70%.

If the odors creeping out of your kitchen sink are enough to make you lose your appetite, it’s these No. 1 bestsellers to the rescue. Formulated with a pleasant citrus scent, the tablets release a foam when wet to help flush out stench-inducing residue from the pipes; just pop in one or two a couple times per month to keep things fresh. They’re down to their lowest price since last summer, so grab a few boxes while you can save.
