Amazon Prime Day 2025 early deals are already here, following the 4-day sales announcement

You know that feeling you get when you’re reading a book or watching a movie that’s so good, you don’t want it to end? Shopping editors can relate during a particularly bountiful sale event. Take Amazon Prime Day, for instance — it’s always been two days long, which, in my opinion, isn’t nearly enough time to bask in the super-savings glow that results from scoring a stellar deal. That’s why I was stunned/excited/insert-happy-adjective-of-choice-here when I heard that Amazon Prime Day 2025 will be a four-day affair. Yes, you read that correctly; everyone’s favorite annual sale will run twice as long as usual, so mark your calendar. Oh, and the cherry on top of the sundae? Early deals are already starting to pop up, from Apple AirPods (a record-low $99) to vacuums, kitchen gear and more.

Oh, silly me — you can’t mark your calendar until you know the actual dates. The online retailer just announced that Amazon Prime Day will be taking place (drum roll, please): Tuesday, July 8 through Friday, July 11. That’s in less than a month, and a bit earlier than in recent years. But I’m not complaining. I mean, when Amazon teases us with the promise of “deep discounts across more than 35 categories including electronics, kitchen, beauty and apparel,” who would want to wait?

If you’re feeling a little impatient with all of this savings talk, I’ve got you. As Yahoo’s senior deals writer, I’m constantly on the lookout for the best markdowns on the web, and I’m happy to report that there are solid deals ripe for the picking as we speak. I’m talking record-low prices and rare sales, so take a gander before Prime Day mania ensues. Happy shopping…

If you’ve been holding off on buying AirPods until there’s a sale, consider this the time to pounce. At just $99, this pair is down to the best price I’ve seen. Now, they don’t include active noise cancellation like these do, but if it’s a high-quality, comfortable listening experience you’re after, these earbuds more than deliver. With up to five hours of listening time per charge (and 30 hours of battery life via the charging case), you’ll be able to enjoy music, podcasts, audiobooks and more with limited interruption.

Those floppy headrests you’re sleeping on aren’t doing your neck any favors, but you can snag this plush, supportive pair for nearly 80% off. They were designed to be comfy whether you’re a stomach, back or side sleeper, and the moisture-wicking material helps prevent things from getting too stuffy on summer nights. Be sure to apply the on-page code for the full discount (a record low).

Apple products are so sought after that they don’t really need to go on sale, and when they do, it’s often because they’re older models. This is the latest version of this iPad, which makes the markdown all the more impressive. According to Yahoo Senior Deals Writer Chris McGraw, who specializes in all things tech, “It’s an ultra-light, thin tablet that’s powerful enough to replace your laptop for most tasks but slips into your bag without a second thought. With a large 11-inch Liquid Retina display, you’re swiping and scrolling in vibrant color and sharpness that makes any screen that came before feel like an old tube TV.

“If you’ve got a habit of toggling between a dozen apps, streaming videos and replying to messages at once, you’re in for a treat. This iPad is ready to keep up with whatever you throw its way. And if you’re into gaming, the graphics capabilities mean you can play even demanding games without dropping a frame.”

Don’t want your new vac to suck a ton of cash from your wallet? This sleek stick’s a rare $74 (it’s only dipped lower than this once). It boasts strong suction for zapping up everything from dust to pet hair, and provides up to 40 minutes of run time per charge. Plus, its LED lights help you see those darker spaces, and its cyclonic filtration system traps airborne particles as well.

Enjoying a warm breakfast on a busy morning has never been so easy, thanks to this contraption that’ll make a bacon, egg and cheese without you having to wait at the drive-through. Just fill each tray with the essentials and any toppings you’d like, and it’ll cook everything so that it’s nice and melty by the time you’ve gotten dressed. This appliance doesn’t go on sale very often, so grab it while you can save a few bucks.

These stylish sunnies remind me of my (much pricier) tortoise Ray-Ban Wayfarers, but considering they’re just eight bucks, I wouldn’t have to be as precious with them. Who wants to stress about shades while trying to relax at the beach? These have polarized lenses to reduce glare and offer UV protection — plus, at nearly 40% off, they’ve never been priced lower.

Ready to transform your blow-drying experience without shelling out for a pricey Dyson? Reviewers say this sleek styler is a comparable alternative for a fraction of the price. It quickly dries hair without harsh heat to leave you with silkier, stronger strands and comes with attachments for smoothing, styling and diffusing. Oh, and this price is its lowest yet.

This is the very hand vac I use at home, and let me tell you — it’s so much more powerful than its lightweight feel would imply. Is it bulkier than some of the other hand vacuums out there? Yes, but that’s to be expected, given its industrial-strength performance. That said, it’s portable enough to bring from room to room without it feeling like a workout, and that’s all I can ask for. Well, that and an incredible price — and this one is a record low. Bonus: You don’t have to purchase the battery and charger separately.

Allow this high-tech gizmo to take all the guesswork out of grilling, roasting and baking by letting you know the internal and external temperatures of the foods you’re preparing. One Yahoo writer and her husband tried it out, saying they’ve “never grilled better meat — it almost feels like cheating.” (Check out her full Meater Plus review for more.) Have a home cook who could use a foolproof method for ensuring their famous ribs are perfectly cooked? Look no further.

This is the best price I’ve seen in, well, ever, and when expensive steaks are on the line? You want to ensure they’re edible, or else that’s just money down the drain.

You’ll never go wrong with the classic look of Hanes, and Yahoo readers and Amazon shoppers alike can’t get enough of these supremely comfortable shorts. They’re made of a soft cotton-blend material, have an adjustable drawstring waist and, very conveniently, pockets. Reviewers of all ages have been singing their praises, and they’ve rarely dipped lower than this all year.

Now, a bit of housekeeping: If this will be your first Prime Day rodeo, you’ll want to keep some things in mind. For starters, as the name implies, the majority of the best are exclusively for Prime members. That means you’ll need an Amazon Prime membership to take advantage of the steepest markdowns. Signing up is easy, and you can even opt for a free 30-day trial before committing. After that, you’ll be charged $14.99 per month, which grants you access to dedicated deals, fast and free shipping, Prime streaming content and more.

If you have Amazon Prime, you’ll get free shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $35 or more.)
