Wild claims of “penis injecting” at the Winter Olympics could now be investigated by World Anti Doping Agency (WADA).
The controversial practice involves male ski jumpers injecting their penises with hyaluronic acid in a bid to increase their penis circumference by 1-2cm.
This is reportedly done before the jumpers are measured for their suits. Their suits are then made to fit around the enlarged penis which, due to increased surface area, can apparently help the athlete fly further in a jump.

International Ski and Snowboard Federation race director Sandro Pertile previously sounded the alarm, saying: “Every extra centimetre on a suit counts. If your suit has a 5 per cent bigger surface area, you fly further.”
Now, the claims have caught the attention of WADA.
In a media conference on Friday (AEDT )WADA director general Olivier Niggli flagged it was on the radar.
“I am not aware of the details of ski jumping, and how that could improve performance,” Niggli said.
“If anything was to come to the surface, we would look at it and see if it is doping related. We don’t address other (non-doping) means of enhancing performance.”
WADA president Witold Banka certainly found the whole topic amusing.
“Ski jumping is very popular in Poland so I promise you I’m going to look at it,” the Polish native said with a bemused smile on his face.
More to come …
